New Beginnings

Hello after a long hiatus. The past few months have been pretty crazy. Where do I even begin? Well, I finally decided to go back to school and finish my education…Let’s just say it has been quite some time and so much has changed. Going back has been a very strange, almost surreal experience: The advancement in technology, the different energy and vibe of the students…For the first 3 weeks it all felt sort of like I was stuck in a dream, caught between the past and the present. It’s been almost 2 months and I’m just barely finally adjusting, but even now I still can’t believe how time just flies and life is constantly changing. Some students now ride on Fuck Boy Rollers blasting their music on portable speakers that talk to them in a Siri-type robotic voice letting them know when their batteries are low and need charging, almost every student is now glued to their iPhone’s as they walk to their classes, and apparently some students have no idea what Wood Stock is…Wild. It has all been one big mental trip to my brain.

I feel like I am definitely on a new chapter of my life. Because of school, I haven’t had the time to blog a lot, and I am not sure when I will get back into fashion blogging. I have really been putting my Instax camera to work, so I have some Instax photos to share from the month of March. I almost forgot how much I really enjoy candid portrait shots of people. I love the raw energy of candid shots. Taking them on Instax is a lot of fun. When not fashion blogging, photography is my other passion. Ever since I sold my DSLR, I now only have my film cameras, but it’s been a nice change of pace.

In other news, I also recently ended a pretty big chapter of my life with certain people and drama ensued, but I am a strong person and I know it was all for the best. Now all that matters is moving forward and continuing to surround myself with positive people. Sometimes you just need to let go of the past and be grateful for what is currently in front of you.
