Earlier this month I was able to tag along with Trent Barboza to hang out and snap some photos of friend’s of his in the folk rock band, Vista Point. It was so much fun listening and watching them record songs for their very first album! These guys are very down to earth and easy to talk to. Lead singer, Richard Rauda definitely has a very distinctive voice. It’s something I haven’t really heard before, but it just seems to vibe really well with Vista Point’s sound. I am not a music blogger, and don’t really know much about music, but I wanted to share some photos I took that night, so I will just keep the words on this post short and sweet. I snapped photos on my iPhone 6s with a fish eye lens and with my Instax Mini 8. Check out the link below to a live session of Vista Point performing, directed by Trent!
I really love the Photojojo Iris Fish Eye lens. I’ve always loved using various fish eye lens on my phone camera. It’s so much fun and always helps make your photos pop. When you do not have a DSLR on you, adding a little flare to your phone photos sometimes makes up for the lower res images. The Iris lens is a really good design and is easy to attach to your phone case! Right now you can get a three lens set (wide angle, macro, and fisheye) for $69.99! (Originally $109)
Here I am lighting myself up with the Photojojo Pocket Spotlight (pictured below). This is the coolest portable spotlight ever! Right now it’s 50% off and only $15. It’s totally worth it and has three different brightness settings. You can even attach it to your phone’s headphone jack and adjust the way the lighting is hitting you. It also has an internal battery and you can easily charge it before you head out for the day’s adventures.
Live Session here!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
